Pre-School FAQ's
When should I apply?
You can submit a registration form via our Virtual Office at any time, detailing your preferred start date.
Do you accept 15-hour and 30-funding?
Yes, please see the Pre-School Funding and Fees page for more information.
Does my child need to attend full-time?
No, we ask all children to enrol for a minimum of 4 sessions. A session is a morning or afternoon at Pre-School.
Are you term time only?
Yes, we are a term-time-only setting. We are open Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 3.00pm, excluding Bank Holidays and inset days.
Do you provide lunch?
No, all children are asked to bring a packed lunch to Pre-School. Please note, we are a nut-free setting. We do provide a small mid-morning healthy snack and 'Cool Milk'.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
Ideally, yes. We understand accidents do happen. We have three small toilets which encourage our children to be independent. Please speak to us if you are concerned about this.
Can my child sleep at Preschool?
No. Unfortunately, we do not have the space to let children sleep. We offer half-day sessions to help plan around rest.
How will I find out how my child is progressing?
The team are available every day at drop off and pick up, in addition to parents' meetings and updates via Tapestry, an online journal we use to record your child's learning and fun.
Preschool Admission
Benhall Pre-School is term-time only and children can join us from the term in which they turn three. The majority of starters join us in September.
To register for a place at the Pre-School, please complete the registration form (available in our Virtual Office). There is a minimum requirement of 4 sessions.

Please note that registering for the Pre-School will not guarantee your child a space. In the event the Pre-School is oversubscribed, the Admissions Policy will be followed.
