Dear Parents,
As we prepare for the end of the year, we start to think of the journey our fabulous children in Year 2 have been on. Whether they joined us in preschool, reception or key stage 1, the part they have played in the history of the school has been so special, and we have enjoyed every moment of teaching them.
They are a year group that is especially close to my heart as they are the first year group who I have seen come from Reception through to Year 2. They have become excellent role models for the rest of the school and a day does not go by when I don't see them modelling our school rules, always ready to learn, respectful of others and keeping each other safe.
Over the last few weeks, they have impressed their new teachers with their positive attitude towards learning. They continue to be resilient and creative during their rehearsals for their end-of-year performances. They are showing just how much they love to learn by continuing to put effort into all of their learning challenges.
The Benhall family are looking forward to sharing the next few weeks with them. We have lots more memories to make with the performances, leavers assembly, school trip and their leaver's party.
A huge thank you to Mrs Spence, Miss Boakes and the Year 2 for all the extra work that goes into the final weeks of school for our leavers.
