Dear Parents,
As we approach the summer (I know hard to believe when you look at the recent weather) our wonderful year 2 and pre-school children are celebrating all that they have achieved.
This week, year 2 pulled 4 wonderful performances of Wonka out of the bag. The singing was magical, the dancing energetic, the solos tear-jerking, and the words delivered with such confidence. We have received so many positive comments. Thank you to our amazing Year 2 team who live and breathe the performance right up until the end of the final encore. The sets and costumes all go towards making this so much more than a school end of year show. Thank you to all the parents for helping the children to learn their lines and provide the costumes.
Next week they have their leaver's assembly and many fun events to mark the end of their time at Benhall.
This week, our preschool children and their families joined Teddy Benhall for a picnic. The weather was kind and everyone had a joyous time.
Next week, they will enjoy their leavers celebration at their Leavers Farewell Party. Thank you to Miss Millward and the team for putting together an event that is going to be really special for everyone.
We will also be saying goodbye to Mrs Tobin this week, who is moving back to Ireland with her family and Miss Ralph, who will be embarking on her PGCE in September. We wish them both lots of luck for the future.
