Dear Parents,
We have had such a lovely week in school this week. The children have continued with all their usual learning and I have been impressed with the level of concentration they have shown this week amongst all the excitement of Christmas. During this morning's celebration assembly I was so pleased to hear about all the work the children have completed.
I have been an exceptionally proud headteacher this week, Pre-School started the week with their production of "My First Nativity." There was some really confident singing from everyone. Well done to the Pre-School team for helping our Mini Performers to deliver such a wonderful performance. Next came the turn of Reception who gave two faultless performances despite some of the children having to step up at the last minute. Seb, I think I need you to help me open every parent event as you did such a great job of welcoming everyone. I hope that our innkeeper Millie has managed to get a good nights sleep now. Thank you to Mrs Skelton for writing the script and to the whole reception team for helping our Early Performers put on a brilliant show. I am excited to see what our Performers in KS1 have in-store for us next week!
All of the children were excellent Purple Learners when we visited The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury this week. They demonstrated how to be ready, respectful and safe while away from the school building and both the theatre and coach staff have been in touch to say what a credit they were to our school. Great job everyone.
Love from Miss Morris and team xx
