Dear Parents,
I couldn't be prouder of our wonderful school this week. Our children and staff go over and above every single day to be the best that they can be.
This week, I had the pleasure of accompanying the year 1's to the Feet First Dance Festival at Cheltenham Town Hall. The children were excellent ambassadors for the school from the moment they got onto the coach. They were polite and respectful of everyone around them. They encouraged each other when they were feeling nervous and they made sure that everyone was included in all parts of the day. Without bias, I can say that our children were role models for all the other schools about how to conduct ourselves when in and out of school. Unsurprisingly the children had been expertly prepared for performing by the year 1 team and they had every aspect of the dance nailed. The cheer they received after performing was the loudest of the day and not just because so many of our parents came along to watch! Thank you year 1 parents for your support with costumes and cheering them on.
This morning, I was discussing our favourite parts of the day with the children and the children listed so many - being with our friends, getting ready backstage, playing with our games, specific parts of the routine, the cheer and watching other schools perform. I loved every moment but for me it was the performance they did this morning for the rest of the school it was so lovely to see their Benhall family cheering them on.
Love from Miss Morris and team xx
