Dear Parents,
There is never a week at Benhall that is the same and that is one of the things that I love about being Headteacher here. This week has not disappointed! The highlight has to be the Year 2 Leaver Performances of Matilda the Musical. The joy that shone through from the children brought a happy tear to everyone's eye. Thank you to all the parents who supported us with organising costumes, helping the children learn their lines and cheering them on during the performance.
Thank you to all the teaching staff who work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that our year 2's have the very best year that prepares them for the next stage of their learning journey and on top of this put on a West End worthy end of year production - I know just how lucky I am to have them!
Finally, a huge WELL DONE to all of the children who have been true purple learners and practised over and over again to perfect the show, stepped out of their comfort zone and overcome stage fright to perform for so many audiences over the last week. Whatever your part you were incredible and a vital part of the cast.
It was fabulous to have year 3 in school on Thursday. They slotted into life at Benhall with a great deal of excitement. We loved having you back year 3!
Have a lovely weekend.
Love from Miss Morris and team xx
