Dear Parents,

What a wonderful week of final Christmas celebrations which were topped of by three beautiful KS1 Christingle Services.  A huge congratulations to the KS1 team for pulling it all together; children you were magnificent as always.  Thank you to everyone for your positive feedback, it means so much to the team and children to know that you enjoyed it.

The children and staff enjoyed Christmas lunch together on Wednesday, followed by party celebrations and Christmas Crafts.  

The Benhall Team would like to thank everyone for your cards, kind words, staffroom treats and gifts this Christmas.  

We wish you all a very happy and safe Christmas with those you love.

The Noisy Nativity

Mrs Selby would love to invite you to  ‘The Noisy Nativity’ at St Mark Church, Cheltenham GL51 7AL 4pm on Christmas Eve.  

Come and join her in the lively family friendly retelling of the Christmas story.

If you’ would like to, come dressed as a character from the Christmas story (Mrs Selby may even be dressed as a cockerel!).

Year Group in Focus - Reception

The children in Reception have been absolutely delightful this term and we would like to say thank you to them all for making the Christmas Term so much fun. They have worked their socks off in every way from phonics, to maths, to art and PE to practising and performing a fabulous show full of storytelling and singing, that we hope you all enjoyed. Their art work has blown us away from start to finish, learning about colours, mixing colours, blending colours and creating their own Winter colour Scenes - they are hiding in their bookbags for a Christmas treat for you and are simply stunning.

Term 1 and 2 have been long and the children are super tired, so now it's time for a well deserved snuggle up together enjoying every minute of the magical Christmas celebrations ahead. Happy Christmas everyone - see you in 2024

A fond farewell to Mrs Lewis

Mrs Lewis has decided that it is time to take a new turn in her career and will be leaving the Benhall team this term to return to her career in property sales.  We wish her well in her new adventure.  

Welcome (back) to Mrs Lloyd, Mrs Williams and Mrs Russell, Mrs Hughes and Mrs Newman

Next term, Mrs Lloyd will be returning to Benhall and joining the Green Class team as a teaching partner.  Mrs Williams who has been at school and pre-school over the last couple of weeks will be joining Yellow Class as a teaching partner. Mrs Russell will be joining Orange Class as a teaching partner.  Mrs Hughes and Mrs Newman will be joining our Pupil Supervisor team.  We look forward to working with you all.  

We would like to wish members of our Benhall Family who have celebrated their birthday a really happy birthday.  Happy birthday to:
