Dear Parents,
What a wonderful final week at school before we head off for the Christmas break. The children and staff enjoyed the festivities while keeping to the routines that the children need to stem the overwhelm of this exciting time of year.
On Wednesday, we had our Festive Lunch, followed by the Christmas Party. The children looked fabulous in their party clothes. Thank you to all the parents and carers who embraced our idea of a festive lunch. The children and staff really enjoyed seeing all the festive additions you had added to their boxes - A joke, an extra packet of sweets, sandwiches and cheese cut into Christmas Shapes and even a bit of edible glitter. This will certainly become a new Christmas tradition at Benhall. Thank you, Miss Bilton and Mrs Spence for coming up with the idea - we missed you both!
On behalf of the whole team, we would like to say thank you to everyone for the Christmas cards, kind words, staffroom treats and teacher gifts we have received this week. You always make us feel so loved and supported. We are privileged to do this job and work with your children.
We wish you a lovely Christmas break doing the things you love with the people you love the most.
