Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is defined as: protecting children from maltreatment; preventing impairment of children’s health or development; ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care; and taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead Officer is Nicky Morris and the Deputy Safeguarding Leads are  Rebecca Bilton, Hazel Everett and Marie Skelton.  Our Deputy Safeguarding Lead at Pre-School is Aimee Millward  If you see or hear anything that makes your feel uncomfortable whilst at Benhall Infant or Pre-School, please ensure you report it to a DSL immediately.
